Computer Centre
The Computer Centre is an integral part of the
Faculty of Information Technology.
The centre guarantees the running of computer laboratories, computing
cluster, servers and information systems.
The computer laboratories in the Centre are utilised both for the scheduled
teaching hours and working on projects, diploma projects and research projects.

Opening Hours
Students are admitted to the Computer Centre if they have a valid student
card during the opening hours, i. e. on workdays
from 7.00 AM till 9.30 PM and during
weekend days from 8.00 AM till 6.00 PM. During the vacations the Computer Centre is opened on workdays only from 8.00 AM till 15.30 PM.
The Rules for Admission to the Computer Centre
The running and development budget is covered by the Faculty
of Information Technology from sources gained from teaching and scientific
activities according to the criteria for the distribution of
financial sources valid at the Brno Universiy of Technology.
Therefore, the Computer Centre facilities
are supposed to be used primarily by the students of the Information
Technology study programme and Computer Science and Engineering
study specialisation. Students of other study programmes may be
admitted to the
Computer Centre during the scheduled tutorials only.
Every year, students are obliged
to become acquainted with the Guidelines for the Usage of the
Computer Centre Facilities during their first visit to the Centre
and confirm this fact by their signature. They are allowed to enter
the Computer Centre if their magnetic card is properly read, which
allows to verify their rights and register their attendance at the
Computer Centre.
