The conference and workshops will be held during May 24-27, 2004. Registration includes attendance to the technical sessions of the conference and workshops, one copy of the proceedings, refreshment breaks, luncheons, a reception and the conference banquet. Registration fees are as follows:

The form may be filled out and mailed electronically, but it will not be processed until payment is received by mail, faxed credit card information, or by direct wire. Secure encryption is not guaranteed, so please do NOT send credit card information by e-mail.
To qualify for Early Registration discounts, the registration form and payment must be received by Sunday, February 29, 2004. Registrations received after February 29 will be charged at the late/on-site registration rate. Important: Papers accepted for presentation at ECBS 2004 will be published in the proceedings only if payment of fee is received by Sunday, February 29, 2004.
To qualify for discounted registration rates, include your current IEEE or IEEE Computer Society membership number(s), or a copy of a valid full-time student identification card with the registration form. If any of the co-authors of a paper is not a student, a full (non-student) registration fee should be paid.
Confirmation of conference registration will be sent by e-mail.
Payment must accompany all registration forms and can be made by credit card, money order, or wire transfer. Registration forms sent by paper mail or fax can include credit card numbers. A form filled out electronically without credit card information can be e-mailed if an associated payment is sent by paper mail or wire transfer. Please do not e-mail forms containing credit card data or other confidential information! Wire transfer data is given in the next table. No registrations will be accepted over the phone, and forms will not be processed until payment is received.

Wire transfers must be received by Friday, May 21, 2004, and will not be accepted for on-site registration.
On-site registrants will pay late registration fees. Forms of payment accepted on site: credit cards (VISA, VISA Electron, EuroCard/MasterCard, American Express, JCB), cash. Wire transfers will not be accepted at on-site registration.
Cancellations and substitutions are allowed. However, full registration fees will be charged unless a cancellation notice is sent in writing, and received or faxed before Friday, April 21, 2004 to the Organising Chair, as listed above.
A $50 handling fee will be applied to all canceled registrations. Fees cannot be refunded for registrations cancelled within 3 days of the meeting. No-shows will be billed in full. Contact the Organising Chair at the above address for substitutions. A letter on company letterhead is required from the original registrant, stating the conditions of the substitution and the name of the replacement.
Hotel Registration must be done separately. The conference hotel is the Best Western Premier Hotel International Brno. The hotel is within walking distance from the conference site (about 10 min). You can reserve rooms there by fax at +420 542 210 843, or by e-mail reservation@hotelinternational.cz. The special conference rate is $98 per night (executive class single room) and $118 (doubleroom). Please ask for the "ECBS Conference Rate" when making reservations. Transportation between Vienna airport and a hotel will be provided, so if you plan to use the shuttle, please, indicate your interest too.
Accommodation will be provided also in the Continental Hotel. The hotel is very close to the conference site (across the street). The special conference rate is $35 per night (standard single room), $52 (standard doubleroom), $52 (superior class single room), and $57 (superior class doubleroom).
