The airplane connection to Prague or Vienna is provided by all major airline companies, e.g. CSA (Czech Airlines) or Austrian Airlines. To get to Brno from anywhere in Europe, you can also use regular train or coach connection. (You can search for the connection e.g. at Czech Railways, Buses). We recommend you to use airplane connection. Regular international flights to Brno are not offered (although there is an airport), so it is better to travel by airplane to Vienna or Prague (Praha-Ruzyne airport). From Prague, Brno can be reached in three different ways:
An alternative is to fly to Vienna (Wien-Schwechat airport). Transportation between Vienna airport and a Hotel International (shuttle) will be provided. If you plan to use the shuttle, please, indicate your interest to the hotel. You can also continue to Brno by coach or train. Take an airport coach to railway station Banhoff Mitte, then continue by train or bus. The direct coach connection to Brno is twice a day only. Using a train, you most probably would have to change at least once.

Local Transport in Brno
There are no conductors in buses and trams. Tickets must be purchased
in advance and validated by passengers upon entry. A one way ticket costs
13 CZK in Brno and may be purchased in selected newspaper/tobacco shops
and ticket machines.
You can use taxi as well. Usual prices are about 20 CZK per km. It's a good
idea to agree on a price with a driver before committing to the ride,
and be sure that the meter is running while you are in the taxi. As in
many big cities, cab drivers sometimes prey on foreigners who are
unfamiliar with the language or currency.
