From Prague Airport to Karlovy Vary (DDECS hotel)
The DDECS 2013 organizers offer you an assistance at the V. Havel Airport Prague. The Airport DDECS 2013 Desk will be located in the arrival hall of Terminal 2 (see map). It will be open on April 7, 2013 from 15:30 to 20:00. The transportation to Karlovy Vary will be provided by two conference buses departing at 16:30 and 20:00. Please choose your preferred bus in the Registration form and do not forget to add CZK 300 to the sum.
On Wednesday, April 10, transportation from the conference hotel to the Prague Airport will be provided. The bus will be departing at 14:30. If you are going to take this bus, please indicate it in the Registration form. The ticket price is 300 CZK.
Bus to Karlovy Vary
If the conference bus does not fit your plans, we recommend using the StudentAgency bus from the Prague Airport or Central Bus Station (Praha UAN Florenc) where you can also find StudentAgency kiosk. StudentAgency buses operate not only in the Czech Republic but also in many other countries. We recommend booking your tickets online (in advance).

Trains to Karlovy Vary
Karlovy Vary can be reached by train, see the trip planner IDOS. It has to be noted that travelling from Prague to Karlovy Vary by train will take about 1 hour longer than by bus. See Czech-Transport.com.

International Airport Karlovy Vary offers connections especially to Russia.
Public transport in Karlovy Vary
The conference hotel is operated by buses number 2, 7 and 52 (the Sanssouci stop). The routes map is available here. A non-transferable tickets costs CZK 18 (valid for one ride), while a transfer ticket costs CZK 25 (valid for 60 minutes). Only the transfer ticket can directly be purchased from a bus driver.
