Seminář UPSY - Šimek V.: Multifunctional Logic Circuits based on Advanced Nanoscale Materials
Initial purpose of this presentation is to clarify the rationale behind
the need to find an alternative path how to properly address at least
some of the most crucial shortcomings of CMOS-based conventional digital
circuits. Main attention will be given to the possible ways how to
extend the traditional abstraction of simple switching elements (i.e.
transistors) by means of adopting the nanoscale materials likes silicon
nanowires (Si-NWs), carbon nanotubes, graphene nanoribbons, organic
polymers and other emerging structures and materials.
