The embedded systems are of increasingly important role in our everyday life : we meet them in cars, trains, airplanes, ... The micro-controller, which is the brain of this kind of systems, choreographs and interacts with its peripherals to feel its environment and provide the right action at the right moment. This presentation will show how to use a micro-controller and some additional peripherals such as GPS module, gyroscopic units and servos to control an airplane model. The C program has been divided into a set of coherent modules, each one corresponding to a precise function. This program is can be easily adapted to many other situations and provides a set of debugging solution like serial communication with a computer and flash memory writing.
