FIT Božetěchova 2, seminární místnost UPGM L220 14.3.2008 Recently, face recognition became very popular computer graphics application which can be used for wide variety of applications. The only downside can be high computing demands of some algorithms. This presentation introduces a simple AdaBoost recognition engine running purely on GPU. There were several bottlenecks and other issues throughout the implementation process and the key decissions are described here. The goal to create GPU face recognition was accomplished and the results are satisfying, however there are still speed improvements to be made. |
