6.2.2012 New course "INI - IT Service Design and Implementation" in summer ac.y. 2011/2012

In summer semester ac.y. 2011/2012, there is offered new course "IT Service Design and Implementation" for students of 3rd year of BIT program. The course is scheduled on Wednesdays 2:00--3:50 pm.

The course is focused on "best practice" processes in the strategic management of IT services according to ITILv3. Its scope and provided information will be approx. on the level of "ITIL V3 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management". The course includes solving of practical tasks, team projects, and presentations of the results and related discussions. The new course and similar course "Service Sciences" (ISE) complement each other, however, it is not necessary to pass also ISE.

The ITIL is de-facto standard in the field of IT service management and its knowledge may be required by eventual employers :-)

Those interested in the course can be registered by beginning of the summer semester (the planned capacity is 60 students), see eventual vice-deans decrees.
