| Efficient algorithms for solving complex simulation problems will be developed in the project using Modern Taylor Series Method (MTSM). Although the extremely accurate solutions of MTSM are well documented, the application to stiff systems, discontinuous dynamics, and high-order systems requires new developments. The increasing importance of high-performance solvers in simulation not only constitutes an area of ongoing research but also is of strong interest for industry applications. The results of the proposed project will enable both research groups to build up advanced knowledge on solving demanding simulation problems and to establish suitable solver tools for typical research problems. |
