Description:
Hybrid platform MINERVA provides a convinient and flexible way how to comprise most of the tasks and procedures associated with design and rapid evaluation of safety oriented embedded systems. Typical arrangement of embedded systems include processors, dedicated hardware (e.g. communication interface for actuators) and application software.

Hyprid platform MINERVA represents an independent piece of hardware, which includes powerful microcontroller with low voltage supply demands, gate array FPGA and rich set of peripherals. Important aspect of the whole conception is the usage of an advanced reprogrammable hardware based on FPGA arrays, which can be modified according to the actual needs in a similar way like normal piece of application on a PC. The substantial advantage is that user doesn't have to built new hardware for each application separately.
