Annotation
In this short paper, we discuss the design of a highlevel network-wide router configuration language. At its current stage of development, the language enables us to specify basic routing and security configurations. A declarative nature of the language is supposed to be intuitive to network administrators. We have developed an experimental compiler that produces configuration files for Cisco routers. The contribution of the paper consists of the description a language for configuration programming and the demonstration of its capabilities on several examples.
