Distributed cybernetic security, Turris router, Firmware and software design

The report describes the activities undertaken in the context of contract research for CZ.NIC, ale, (http://www.nic.cz/). The aim of the contract research of the Department of Computer Systems, Faculty of Information Technology at Brno University of Technology (DCSY FIT BUT) and CZ.NIC was a cooperation on the project Turris (https://www.turris.cz/). Project Turris is a service that helps users with the protection of your home network by using a special router. It is non-profit research projects since 2013. In the framework of this cooperation researchers DCSY FIT BUT participated in the design and development of firmware and software for the router. The present report described the form and scope of cooperation as well as individual outputs during the project originated in 2014.
