Abstract

In this article there are described methods for creating two-dimensional and three-dimensional models of elastic solids using systems of coupled particles, i.e. particles connected by elastic links. There is also described concept for interactive or automatic deformation of solids using external forces or by changing globals and locals characteristic of particle system. Finally there are described visualization methods of solids created by particle systems.
