Abstract

Significant progress in power sector liberalization process at Central European Region has been achieved. It is necessary to include this context to modeling system of EGÚ Brno for Czech Republic power system and electricity market. This paper shortly describes power sector liberalization process and its impact on power system modeling in first part (chapter 2). Second part of paper presents feasible solution of challenges described in first part by means of modeling system of EGÚ Brno in Central European context (Chapter 3).
