Annotation

There are many models describing the natural languages. The main  interest of most of them is to capture the syntax and semantics of the languages. The motivation was to find a~way to transform natural languages in between and also automatize machine  translation. The main purpose of this paper is to introduce a~pair of frameworks widely used in today's natural language processing and to present in which aspect they are useful. These frameworks are  dependency and phrase structure grammars. More detailed description of them will be given and in the end these two approaches will be compared.
