The article deals with the UML as the description language for microprocessor design.
Abstract
Our work is focused on the research of a language for description of microprocessors that is based on the UML language and methods for transformation of microprocessors' models. These methods will be used for the design of the advanced software toolset, which would make the development more efficient and, in some aspects, fully automatized. The goal of our proposal is creation of the tool, which would make fast definition of the microprocessors using UML possible.
