Annotation

This paper presents the idea of translation grammar and syntax driven translation, with focus on natural language translation. It introduces the concept of parse driven translation and contains definitions of formal tools that can be used in this task, such as parse translation grammar and parse translation matrix grammar. A practical example is included, showing a possible application in translating Japanese sentence structure to Czech.
