Abstract
This term project deals with analysis, description and usage of sensors within the Android operating system enviroment. Further it tries to discuss most of the common problems that might occur when implementing an application for collection of data from sensors. Finally, it describes the implementation of mobile application for data collection from sensors, which is created using cross-platform framework Xamarin. The collected data from given application will serve as an input to the analysis for fnding machine learning methods for the detection of a user activity (eg. running, walking, driving, etc.)
