Mark Guzdial

I'm an associate professor at Georgia Tech's College of Computing. My research area is educational technology, especially support for project-based learning. I teach a large (100+ per term) Sophomore class on object-oriented stuff where we use Squeak. I'm the leader of the Georgia Tech Squeakers (http://www.cc.gatech.edu/projects/squeakers/) and writing two books on Squeak.

I'm the original designer of the Pluggable Web Server (http://www.cc.gatech.edu/fac/mark.guzdial/squeak/pws/) based on Georg Gollman's work, and of the Swiki (see http://pbl.cc.gatech.edu/myswiki for more on PWS and Swiki, including an FAQ) based on Ward Cunningham's work.
