Annotation:
The center of the project is to form a team of PhD students, their cooperation in tasks of using up-to-date information technology methods in biology and medicine, and build new application of IT in the mentioned fields. The following tasks will be particularly solved: biometrics for security applications and identification of living organism, analysis of electrical activity of organs, preferably of heart and brain, genomic signal processing, application and development of IT methods in assessment of ecological and health risks, IT solution of health information systems, development of analytical tools for clinical data and research of methods for stochastic modeling in predictive medicine. Supervisors and PhD students of Department of Biomedical Engineering FEEC BUT, Department Intelligent Systems FIT BUT, and Institute of Biostatistics and Analyses MU will participate in the project.
