Annotation
This paper is focused on the design of low power digital circuits. It presents results from the actual work in this area using evolutionary algorithms. At the first the evolutionary design on the transistor description level is showed. The complexity of the design was decreased. In addition to that the circuits with tens of transistors was designed. The approach was accelerated on the Xilinx Zynq with the speedup 4.7x. Then the new approach for evolutionary optimisation is introduced. In addition to that the methods for decreasing of power consumption on the system level with approximate computing.
