FTP-Transcriber is a software for orthographic annotation of large
speech corpora. It supportes a variety of audio formats, speech data
can reside on local disk or be accessed remotely by the FTP protocol.
It contains a built-in conversion of orthographic to phonetic forms - a
unique feature among similar softwares. FTP-Transcriber was
successfully used for annotation of more than 5000 speakers in the
framework of SpeechDat(E) and SpeeCon projects and in
industry-sponsored projects at CTU, BUT and University of West Bohemia
in Pilsen.
