The hardware platform, designed as an integral part of the Primary Flight Display, is an embedded computer system capable of real time control of the dynamic systems. The platform supports an optional integration of digital, analogue or intelligent sensors with data preprocessing, connectivity to output modules, and actuation elements as part of a smart actuation unit controlled through an industrial grade data-bus. The hardware platform includes an integrated memory module dedicated to sensed-data recording. The platform supports connectivity to autonomous user interface modules.
