Abstract

At FIT, there is an ongoing research and development on the topic of collaboration of a human and a robot which is realized mainly by PhD students. The research is focused mainly on effectiveness and safety of this close collaboration. Its goal is to enable deployment of robots in SME companies where current solutions available on the market are unsuitable: commissioning requires an expert, lack of a user interface, inability to perceive human workers as well as work environment and its current state. The goal of the current project is to involve young researchers and use know-how of the application partner to develop software to cope with this deficiencies. It will be available as an open-source a it will serve for integrators as a basis for their concrete industrial applications.
