Addendum No. 1 to the Agreement between the Slovak Republic
and the United Nations on the Trans-European Railway Project

Since the Slovak Republic decided to continue in ensuring operation of the Trans-European Railway Project Central Office in Bratislava,
The Slovak Republic represented by the Ministry of Transport, Construction
and Regional Development of the Slovak Republic and the United Nations (hereinafter „UN“) represented by the United Nations Economic Commision for Europe, representing
by the Trans-European Railway Project, have agreed as follows:
Article 1
Extension of time validity
The time validity of the Agreement between the Slovak Republic and the United Nations on the Trans-European Railway Project Central Office (hereinafter the „Agreement”) is extended, pursuant to Article 10 „Final Provisions” paragraph 1, until 31. December 2014.

Article 2
Basic provision
The present Addendum forms ??an integral part of the Agreement.
Article 3
Entry into force and Provisional Application
This Addendum is subject to the approval by the national authorities
of the Slovak Republic and shall enter into force from the date of delivery
of the notice of the Slovak Republic of such approval to the Secretary General of the UN. This Addendum will be provisionally applied from the date of signature of this Addendum.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the undersigned plenipotentiaries have signed
this Addendum to the Agreement.
Done at Bratislava on 21st December 2011, in duplicate original, in the Slovak
and English languages, each text being equally authentic. In case of any divergence
of interpretation or application of this Addendum to the Agreement the English text
shall prevail.
