Abstract
IP multicast is nowadays a common network technique for
communication and data delivery between senders and a large set of receivers. It could be argued that multicast is not generally supported by ISPs yet it became a standard for media streaming, distributed computing, financial applications and many others [1]. There is a need for suitable modeling and simulation tools supporting multicast routing, distribution trees and visualization of multicast data flows. In this paper we report on our so called ANSA extension which expands INET framework in OMNeT++ environment.
