Abstract

This paper describes a network collaborative system designed to support clinical applications of 3D computer modeling of human tissues. Geometrical models of tissues may be used for individual planning, simulations and navigation of surgeries. Our system is realized as a service to clinical workplaces, provided by specialized 3D laboratory. Main problems of such distant cooperation are necessary consultations, corrections and verifications of final models. This is supported by our system in the form of Virtual Collaborative Environment (VCE).
