Annotation
The paper describes a method suitable for the evolutionary design of small combinational circuits. The method utilizes Cartesian Genetic Programming. Various digital circuits were successfully designed by means of the method, including multipliers, sorting and median networks. The evolved circuits are presented and analyzed.
