Well, I was introduced to Squeak by LucianoEstebanNotarfrancesco, Gerardo Richarte and Alejandro Weil.
The first thing I did was to make a single booteable floppy disk booting an old version of linux with squeak using svgalib (because X is too heavy).
Too many people contact us (Ale Weil and me) to make the source of
the squeak port to svgalib available, we didn't put it yet only
because we coded the source very quickly and ugly, so we think to
try again with Squeak 2.7 (or 2.8 or 3.0, or |||||) and make some improvements and features adds. But the scope of this project is in
the "Proof of Concept" things.
