Sandbox via Capabilities
Morphic is a wonderful way to compose computer media, and mechanisms such as ImageSegments and SmartRefStream allow those compositions to be distributed. However, there is no way to safely display a Morphic composition developed by someone else. What Squeak is lacking is a sandbox.
Lex Spoon is working on a scheme to create sandboxes internal to a Squeak image. There is a book morph describing the general approach and a sketch of some of the details, which can be retrieved via:
