NEWS
Hello Media Group. Let's use this space to get moving
on our tasks. Hopefully we can start compiling
articles (while we wait for "Goofy" to be installed),
working on editor procedures, and "static content" for
the prototype.
PHILOSOPHY & OVERVIEW
Click here for a document written by Mary Fister which
gives an Overview of the Media 0.1 system. It also contains
good links to other news systems to better understand
what we're thinking. We may consider adapting this
for the "About Section" of the actual center.
EDITORS
Please indicate whether you are interested in becoming
one of the first editors (see the overview for
a description of their role). In addition, we must
also start putting together documents about
organizaitonal procedures, clear guidelines for
editing articles, tips on good journalism, etc.
PARTNERS
Let's look at the other youth and media related
organizations already out there and look at ways
to find common ground. A #10 here.
ARTICLES
Until the "Add an Article" feature is ready on the
prototype (this may take several weeks to a month),
let's compile articles we gather here onto our Squeak
site. I suggest we put them into their categories in
single pages. Let's get a pile of good ones!
