Goal
Double-Clickable Applications (DCA),
Self-installing Squeak Release (SSR),
Browser Plugin VM (BPV)
We have bundles these three projects together because the skill set required is pretty similar, and because the second will probably be an example of the first. Each of these has a significant platform-specific component to it.

[May 2000] Still working an the plugin stuff. But see Squeak inside a webbrowser.

[Feb 27 00, ACG] I posted a "solution" to the corrupted sources issue on various platforms. Using Andreas' excellent plugin implementation of the Zip family compression algorithms, I modified the system startup code as follows:




I was preparing a far more elaborate installation program, but it occurred to me that this might be the simplest possible thing that could possibly work. I posted changesets to the listserv.
